After my last post I visited my doctor for a nagging sinus infection and she ended up helping me with my JRA as well. I knew I was sore, but I guess I was too stubborn to admit how sore I really was. Luckily my doctor recognized that I was in some serious pain and wanted to help out until I have a chance to visit my Rheumatologist. She gave me a shot of Toradol and a prescription for Norco and I have to say, I'm feeling human again! The Toradol kicked in pretty quick and REALLY helped me relax! For a few days I still felt sore, everything was still trying to loosen up and relax...I felt like I'd gone through a crazy workout and my muscles were still achy and tight, but even that was an improvement on how I'd been feeling. My family stepped in and helped out too. They knew I needed some rest and helped take care of Jimmy even more than usual. And today, I'm feeling great! My sinuses are still clearing up, but no more headaches and my JRA is feeling pretty good despite the change in weather...again! I never did take the Norco...I have to admit I'm a little afraid of it, but I have it if I need it. Thank God for doctors who really care about their patients and families who are there to help out when you really need them! Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
