Another rough week...

My JRA has continued to test my patience. I had a busy week full of mini road trips to Palm Springs and San Diego and lunch dates with my girlfriends, all accompanied by subtle flares. I haven't had a traditional flare since I was about 10 years old...joints that are swollen, stiff and hot to the touch...that was until this past week. My knees and ankles have been stiff and swollen, as have my hands and wrist, making it hard to type, button my shirts and even harder to stand or sit for very long. Hence the lack of entries. I've upped my Prednisone to 5mg again, but it doesn't seem to help much. My mom and husband keep reminding me I need to move around to stay loose and relaxed, but it's hard when you'd rather sit around and wait for it to pass. Enough complaining for now, time to move around a little.
