It's been a hectic year, but all of it has been worth it. All is well with my second pregnancy, Jimmy is healthy and happy and my parents moved closer to us...oh and I'm typing this on my new iPad Mini...I couldn't ask for more. hee hee I'm beyond grateful for all that we have and look forward to everything 2014 has to offer.
I'm happy to say that we had a 4-D Ultrasound last Saturday and Baby #2 is doing well, but unfortunately slept the entire time so the video is a little dull, but who cares, we were able to see our little munchkin! Jimmy went with us and watched for a bit and then decided he was bored and wanted to play. Can't blame him, 30 minutes in a dark room is a long time for him. The baby's head and feet are very low in my pelvis and it's butt is way up under my ribs on the left side. We kind of figure it's hitting a nerve or something and maybe that's what is causing the pain under my left shoulder blade. It's calmed down for now, so I'm hoping it stays away.
Biggest surprise this past week...I'm no longer Lactose Intolerant!!! YAY!!! My Mom-In-Law made some of her yummy Potato Soup last weekend and I couldn't resist, I had to eat it despite all of the dairy that was in it and the chance that I might completely regret every delicious bite. To my surprise, I kept down every bite and have kept down all of the delicious dairy I've tested since...bring on the fudge, ice cream, pumpkin pie...I've tested it all! I knew when I was pregnant with Jimmy that the Lactose Intolerance could go away towards the end of my pregnancy, but never had the guts to test it. I'm so glad I gave in this year and tried it out...so worth it!
So luckily 2013 is ending on a happy note and I'm hoping 2014 brings even more good health and happiness for all of my family and friends. Happy New Year to all of you!
